I'm so happy you stopped by my page today! I'm Anita Hawkins, and this is my blog, but it's a little hard to pin down what it's about. I'm an insurance agent and agency owner specializing in Medicare insurance, but it isn't really about that (although if you're looking for a Medicare plan, or if you are an agent looking for an agency, text or email! I'd love to talk to you!). My ongoing project right now is a beautiful little historic building I bought in downtown Madison, NC that I'm remodeling. I plan to use the downstairs as my office, and the apartment upstairs as "visiting" space for my family. The building was built in 1920, so I'm learning a lot of history as I go along! I'm also just a 50-something, ADHD wife, mother, business-owner, DIYer, and recovering Southern Baptist (because being raised Southern Baptist is kinda like being an alcoholic, you never really get over it. You just have to take it day by day!), trying to enjoy life, find inner peace, make people smile and lend a hand when I can, hoping to bumble into bliss along the way and get better with age!
